It’s rare for someone to live for over 100 years, so it’s special when it happens and should be treated as such. A grandmother known as “Aunt Ivy” in Crawcrook, Tyne and Wear, England at Addison Court Care Home just celebrated her 105th birthday. She’s known for having an outstanding sense of humor.
Last year, she tried to get family members to climb a tree. This year, she wanted to cross off a bucket list item. Her birthday wish? To have a “fireman with tattoos” deliver her birthday cake. And her wish was granted!
Ivena Smailes or “Aunt Ivy” as she’s fondly called, celebrated her 105th birthday with a bang.

According to Debra Carter of the care home, Aunt Ivy included this birthday wish in her bucket list for 2016.
On her big day, a tattooed fireman climbed into her window, and gave her a birthday cake.
