Animal lovers understand the joys of taking care of animals, even if they’re not their own. For Jada Fitch, taking care of animals is a wonderful hobby. Fitch is a bird-lover and she knows that the creatures are made for free flying and exploration, so confining them to cages can sometimes endanger them.

In order to keep them out of cages, Fitch creates birdhouses for her feathered friends. She affixes them to her windows, allowing her to watch the birds up close, as well as photograph and video them. Check out her adorable creations below.

Jada Fitch is an illustrator based in Portland, Maine.

She is also an avid bird-lover.

Many little birds come to visit Fitch’s birdhouse creations everyday.

Fitch affixes them to her windows, but only for a few hours each day.

This way, she is able capture amazing footage of her lucky little visitors.

Fitch makes sure the birds enjoy fully-furnished houses.

These birdhouses make the perfect hideaway for birds.

She also has a permanent bird feeder set up in her backyard for her visitors.

Although not every bird gets to enjoy the houses Fitch creates, the bird feeders in her yard draw many feathered critters back for more.
