11. Studies suggest that height is telling of the potential (or lack there of) for certain health risks.
Taller people were found by one study to be at lower risk for heart problems. Another study reported that shorter people could be less likely to develop cancer. Both of these had something in common: the amount human growth hormone that was naturally being produced in the body. Apparently the hormone increases risk for some diseases and lowers it for others.
