A lot of mothers out there sacrificed their education for the sake of their children. They may have wanted to finish college, go to grad school, or take up a new degree, but they chose to take care of their children instead.
Take for instance this mom who went to college for accounting when her daughter was a toddler and has, now that her daughter is grown, decided to go back to school full-time to pursue a degree in web design. Not only that, but she has enrolled in the same college that her daughter is currently attending.
Kitty Murray and her mom, Brenda, are attending the same college.
She’s working on a degree in accounting while Brenda is starting on a degree (her second) in web design.
Kitty said her mom got an accounting degree more than 20 years ago.

Brenda is adulting in college in ways that most students don’t. Kitty has been documenting it all on her Tumblr blog.
Kitty is pretty amused by her mom’s approach.
Brenda is also a highly organized student, as you can see from this schedule and map combo she made herself.
Kitty can’t seem to get enough of her mom’s neatness and organization.

Attending the same college has brought Kitty and her mom closer together. Kitty’s classmates think it’s great too with one even declaring she wishes she was that close with her mom.
