A cement mixer certainly doesn’t strike a normal person as having the potential to be a disco ball…or an art project at all for that matter. But one artist thought of a very creative way to use this particular cement mixer.
French artist Benedetto Bufalino turned this cement mixer into a gigantic disco ball, parked it in a construction site, and pointed bright spotlights at it. He called his masterpiece “Disco Ball Cement Mixer”, and you have to see it to appreciate this work of art.
This is not your ordinary cement mixer.

The cement mixer was parked from December 8 to 10 on a construction site in Lyon, France.
Spotlights were aimed at it so that when it was turned on, the light was reflected in a disco ball pattern.
People gathered to look at it, after all it’s not everyday they get to see a giant disco ball.
