Not many things are more annoying and misleading than having your Facebook timeline flooded with fake news. The stories they link to are meant to mislead people into believing something that didn’t happen at all.
Sadly, there is a significant number of people who have fallen victim to these lies. Facebook is doing its best to remove fakes news from their platform, but there’s still plenty that’s slipping through the cracks and making it into our news feeds. As a Facebook user, here’s what you can do to help solve the problem.
When you see something that’s obviously fake news, click the down arrow found at the upper right hand corner next to the “Like Page” buton.
Once the menu pops out, click on “Report post”.
Select “I think it shouldn’t be on Facebook”.
Then click “It’s a false news story”.
You also have the option to block or hide all posts from the Facebook page or user.

Fake news should be prevented from spreading. If we each do our part, we can stop them. Jut follow the steps above, and together we’ll clean up Facebook in no time.
