Recently, a 14-year-old boy allegedly murdered his father, and then allegedly opened fire on the playground at Townville Elementary School in South Carolina. As if that wasn’t tragic enough, a 6-year-old boy named Jacob Hall was critically injured in the shooting and later passed away.
When it was time for Jacob’s funeral, his mother didn’t want people wearing suits and ties and the other traditional black attire to the funeral to symbolize mourning. She knew a lot of children would be there, and she didn’t want them to be scared. Instead, in line with Jacob’s favorite theme, his mother encouraged everyone to come dressed as superheroes to celebrate Jacob’s life. The result was incredible.

Since Jacob was dressed as Batman, it was only fitting that his mother, Renae Hall, went as Robin.
