Children staying in hospitals for long term care often don’t have much to look forward to. Luckily for the children in an Indiana hospital, they have something to look forward to every day thanks to construction worker Jason Haney. He wanted nothing more than to cheer up the children at the hospital next to his current construction site. What he’s done for them just might restore your faith in humanity.
Meet Jason Haney, a construction worker whose desire to make hospitalized children happy led him to come up with a brilliant idea.
He works at a construction site next to the Memorial Children’s Hospital in South Bend, Indiana.
He built an 8-foot tall cut-out of Waldo with the help of his daughter.
He puts the cut-out in different locations around the site for children to find each day.
He moves it when the kids have found where it’s hidden, so they can find it again.
The kids at the hospital love looking for Waldo from their windows.

Haney even setup a group on Facebook where the children can post about having found Waldo. He and his daughter are also working on a new project which includes cut-out Minions! He should serve as an inspiration to all of us. It’s great to know there are good samaritans like him out there!
