Living in an apartment in a highly urbanized city such as New York City has its perks. There’s seemingly no end to the amazing selection of things the city has to offer.
However, it also has its disadvantages, and one of them is the fact that there is very little room, if any, to have your own garden. In order to remedy this problem, one environmental scientist/model decided to fill her apartment with 500 plants. Here’s how she did it:
This is Summer Rayne Oaks from Brooklyn, New York.
With her being an environmental scientist, it’s no surprise that she loves plants.
She loves them so much that she has essentially turned her apartment into a jungle.
She’s placed potted plants all over the house.
She has them in her living room and dining area.
She even has them in the toilet!
She also has a living wall in her bedroom, complete with an irrigation system.
According to her, being around plants helps her survive in New York.
She has around 500 plants including herbs, flowers, fruits, and vegetables.
She also converted a closet into a grow garden.

It’s clear how passionate Summer Rayne is about plants. Her 1,200 sq. ft. (111 m2) apartment with its 500 different plants is now an indoor jungle, and there’s no other place she’d rather be.
