Men nowadays are getting more and more creative when it comes to proposing to their girlfriends. Many have realized that the whole going-down-on-one-knee-in-a-restaurant things is a worn out cliche and that women appreciate a little originality and creativity.
A good example of such originality and creativity would be Luis Cardona, a rock climber who recently proposed to his girlfriend during a climbing session at an indoor rock climbing location. See what else he did to make it an unforgettable event.
Luis Cardona and his girlfriend, Maddy Thorpe, met each other in August 2015.
He decided to set up a rock climbing date where he would propose to her.
Cardona asked the help of some of their friends and hired photographer India Earl.
When Thorpe was on top, Cordona had all the lights shut off. Thorpe was a little scared at first.
Their friends hurriedly hung lights and covered the gym with rose petals while the lights were out.
Thorpe realized what was happening and her fear was replace with tears of joy.
Next, Cardona lowered her down.
He then popped the question, to which she said yes.
