7. She calls you a “good guy”.
Generally speaking, when a woman refers to you as a “good guy”, it’s code that means you’re officially in the friend zone. The “good guy” line may as well end with “…but I’d never date you/I don’t think of you like that/you’d be perfect for my friend” because these are the things she’s thinking when she says you’re a good guy. You may as well go ahead and ask her about her friends who are single.
8. “Why can’t I find a great guy like you?”
This is similar to, but not exactly the same as the “good guy” situation. Here, at least in most cases, she specifically knows that you’re interested in her, and she’s intentionally and carefully dismissing it so as to keep you in the friend zone. Think about it. If this weren’t just a line, why would she look for another guy who’s great just like you instead of being with you?
